The Easy Way To Make Copies Of Wii Games With Your Burner
It’s no mystery that the Nintendo Wii has been selling like mad - it’s one hot system! With so many new users, we seem to be getting a good number of emails from people wondering if there is a way to copy Wii games. With this is mind, we decided to throw together a quick guide showing you how to do this.
As you might already know you can’t just use the same software you use to burn cds if you are trying to make a copy of a video game. Programs like Nero or Roxio are not able to copy Wii games.
Why is this?
Nintendo Wii games use a type of ‘copyright protection’ on them (as do all video games) which blocks your computer from being able to recognize or “make sense” of what is on the disc. Because your computer can’t read the disc, it isn’t able to know what it is supposed to be copying.
When there’s a problem, someone’s going to find a solution! That’s exactly what certain software companies have done - there are now programs that are able to “punch-out” the guards on video games. When you install this software, your computer is able to read the data that is on video game discs.
One quick point - these programs can copy xbox 360, PS3 and any other video games that are on discs. It’s not only for making Wii game copies.

The software is incredibly easy to use once you install it and get the hang of it. First you insert your Wii game into your CD/DVD drive and let your computer make an “image” of it. Afterwards you put in a blank disc and the image is copy identically onto the disc.
